🇸🇮 Pet Import to Slovenia

Slovenia applies EU Pet Travel Regulation (EU) No 576/2013. Pets from other EU states need an EU Pet Passport, ISO microchip implanted before vaccination, and a rabies vaccine at least 21 days old, with no quarantine required. Non-EU arrivals from unlisted countries must present a FAVN rabies titer test (≥0.5 IU/ml) taken 30 days after vaccination, followed by a 3-month wait, plus an official health certificate. Given Slovenia's central position bordering both EU and non-EU-adjacent routes through the Balkans, checks are typically stricter at the Croatian border than at other Schengen crossings.
