🇱🇺 Pet Import to Luxembourg
Luxembourg applies EU Pet Travel Regulation (EU) No 576/2013. Pets arriving from other EU states need an EU Pet Passport, ISO microchip implanted before vaccination, and a rabies vaccine at least 21 days old, with no quarantine required. Non-EU arrivals from unlisted countries must present a FAVN rabies titer test (≥0.5 IU/ml) taken 30 days after vaccination, followed by a 3-month wait, plus an official health certificate. Because Luxembourg is landlocked within the Schengen area, most pets enter overland, and document checks are typically lighter than at major air hubs, though full EU compliance is still legally required.
