Toronto General Hospital

Toronto General Hospital is the flagship site of the University Health Network (UHN), Canada's largest research hospital organisation, and is consistently ranked among the world's leading academic medical centres. Located in downtown Toronto, Ontario, the hospital is affiliated with the University of Toronto's Temerty Faculty of Medicine and has been a global pioneer in solid-organ transplantation, performing the first successful single-lung transplant in 1983 and the first successful double-lung transplant in 1986.
