Humanitas Research Hospital

Humanitas Research Hospital is a private teaching hospital located in Rozzano on the southern outskirts of Milan, founded in 1996 and JCI-accredited since 2016. It operates as both a high-volume clinical facility and a biomedical research institution, with its research arm affiliated with the University of Milan. The hospital is particularly recognized across Europe for its robotic orthopaedic surgery programme, which handles a significant volume of hip and knee replacement procedures using minimally invasive robotic systems. Its oncology division, the Humanitas Cancer Center, follows a multidisciplinary tumour board model and covers a broad spectrum of solid and haematological malignancies. The cardiology and cardiac surgery unit treats complex structural heart disease and performs coronary interventions under one roof.
