What does this mean if you're applying to study?
A Student sponsor licence means De Montfort University can issue a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) — a prerequisite for a UK Student visa. It does not mean you have been offered a place: you still need an unconditional offer for an eligible course, must meet the English-language and financial requirements, and the institution issues the CAS at its discretion. This institution is licensed for the Student route (18+).
See the UK Student visa guide for the current eligibility, English-language, and maintenance requirements.
