Mother Teresa Clinical Centre (Macedonian: Klinički centar Majka Tereza) is North Macedonia's largest and most comprehensive hospital, serving as the country's principal tertiary referral and teaching institution. Located in the capital Skopje, it is affiliated with the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University Faculty of Medicine, making it the primary site for medical education and postgraduate specialist training in the country. The centre encompasses numerous clinical departments covering cardiology, cardiac surgery, oncology, haematology, neurology, neurosurgery, trauma and orthopaedics, pulmonology, nephrology, and gastroenterology, among others. Diagnostic capabilities include MRI, CT, PET-CT, and catheterisation laboratories. Residents of North Macedonia access services through the national public insurer FZOM (Fond za zdravstveno osiguruvanje na Makedonija), with minimal co-payments for insured patients. The hospital does not hold JCI accreditation; quality oversight is provided by the Ministry of Health and the Health Insurance Fund. Macedonian and Albanian are the primary languages of service, reflecting the country's bilingual official status, and basic English communication is available in specialist departments. International patients are received on a case-by-case basis, though no dedicated international patient office exists. The facility is named in honour of Saint Teresa of Calcutta, who was born in Skopje in 1910.
