🇨🇿 Pet Import to Czech Republic
The Czech Republic applies EU Pet Travel Regulation (EU) No 576/2013. Pets from other EU states need an EU Pet Passport, ISO microchip implanted before vaccination, and a rabies vaccine at least 21 days old, with no quarantine required. Non-EU arrivals from unlisted countries must present a FAVN rabies antibody titer test (≥0.5 IU/ml) taken 30 days after vaccination, followed by a 3-month wait, plus an official government-endorsed health certificate. The most common failure point is microchipping after the rabies vaccination, which invalidates the shot under EU rules and forces the waiting period to restart.
