🇭🇷 Pet Import to Croatia
Croatia applies EU Pet Travel Regulation (EU) No 576/2013. Pets arriving from other EU states need an EU Pet Passport, ISO microchip implanted before vaccination, and a rabies vaccine at least 21 days old, with no quarantine required. Non-EU arrivals from unlisted countries must present a FAVN rabies titer test (≥0.5 IU/ml) taken 30 days after vaccination, followed by a 3-month wait, plus an official health certificate. Because Croatia's coastline and islands rely heavily on ferry transport in addition to air travel, pet owners should confirm both airline and ferry operator pet policies well ahead of a summer relocation.
