Poland

POL

Poland holds one of the world's most powerful passports, tied with several other EU states for visa-free access to 190 destinations, and its EU and Schengen membership provides full freedom of movement across Europe. A strong citizenship by descent programme allows those with Polish ancestry to claim Polish — and therefore EU — citizenship, and Poland de facto permits dual nationality despite the absence of explicit legal provisions authorising it.
