🇬🇷 Pet Import to Greece
Greece is an EU member and follows EU Pet Travel Regulation (EU) No 576/2013. Pets arriving from other EU states need an EU Pet Passport, ISO-compliant microchip implanted before vaccination, and a rabies shot at least 21 days old, with no quarantine required. Arrivals from unlisted third countries need a FAVN rabies titer test (≥0.5 IU/ml) 30 days post-vaccination plus a 3-month wait, and an official health certificate. A common failure point is microchipping after vaccination, which invalidates the rabies shot and restarts the waiting period.
